3 weeks and out of this world

i have this "lion-witch-wardrobe" mentality on travel. wherever i am progresses in time while everywhere i'm not freezes in time.

does it seem normal that this many major events things happened in bangkok while i was gone? i feel like it's a lot.
prime minister somsak was ousted.
house church leaders' baby started walking.
2 programs of ours are completely restructured.
a church leader who avoided the church the whole past year came back.
the community store (and social center) outside our house closed.
my next door neighbor, who i think is a great mother, was arrested for selling meth. total shock.by the way, my long-standing superpower desire is to stop time like half-alien, evie.
